    Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Senior & Project Officer to join their team.
    Perform project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology.
    2. Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes.
    3. Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans.
    4. Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
    5. Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decision making and planning.
    6. Support the implementation of appropriate project controls (risk, scheduling, budgetary and reporting) to deliver transparency and improved project performance.
    7. Apply continuous improvement approaches to systems, processes, and procedures to support the implementation of best practice project methodologies and quality standards.
    8. Support the design and development of projects that build cultural awareness, inclusion, trust and mutual respect in line with the department s core values and objectives.

    Selection Criteria:

    1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience.
    2. Current general construction induction card (White card), or attainment of one within a reasonable timeframe.
    3. Knowledge of, and commitment to implementing the Department s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.


    On offer is a 12 month contract at a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation, with a highly competitive daily rate.
