    The Senior System Administrator plays a crucial role in our IT department ensuring the reliability efficiency and security of our systems and network infrastructure. This position involves a mix of strategic planning technical execution and team collaboration to manage our organizations computing environment including server administration network management and cloud services. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach and a commitment to excellence in maintaining and enhancing our IT operations.

    Responsibilities
    • Architect and maintain scalable and secure server and network infrastructures.
    • Oversee Exchange Online Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
    • Manage Microsoft 365 configurations focusing on user management and security settings.
    • Assure high availability and performance of IT services and systems.
    • Maintain Windows and Linux servers ensuring their reliability and security.
    • Implement system updates patches and security measures.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve serverrelated issues.
    • Optimize network configurations for performance and security.
    • Manage FortiGate firewalls switches and other network hardware.
    • Monitor network performance and solve connectivity problems.
    • Deploy and oversee cloudbased solutions with platforms like AWS and Azure.
    • Ensure seamless integration of cloud services with onpremise infrastructure.
    • Develop and enforce data backup and recovery strategies.
    • Regularly test backup systems to ensure data integrity.
    • Provide enduser support improving overall user satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with IT team members to enforce security policies and meet compliance standards.


    Requirements

    Requirements
    • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration including significant experience with Microsoft environments.
    • Professional certifications in Microsoft Linux or network management preferred.
    • Proficiency in managing Exchange Online Azure Active Directory Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and FortiGate firewalls.
    • Knowledge of DNS DHCP and cloud services (AWS Azure).
    • Ensure the stability security and efficiency of IT systems and networks.
    • Lead successful system and network upgrade projects.
    • Provide expert technical support and guidance to users and team members

    Candidate Experience To excel in this position, you will need to: Certification Requirements Bachelor s degree in business administration or equivalent. Technical Skills 2+ years of experience in supply chain / logistics / order fulfillment. Experience in IT industry, software and service delivery is plus. Previous experience in CRM/ERP systems, ex. Zoho CRM, Zoho Books. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Personal Skills High sense of responsibility and ownership, acting like owner in what you do. Exceptional communication and presentation skills Being able to work on their own or in a team Being able to work to tight deadlines Ability to maintain composure during stressful situation Handling many tasks & responsibilities Fluent in Arabic and English. Working Conditions Working on Weekends, Holidays or outside the business hours could be required.
