- Increase access of FDPs and HC to quality education, skills and learning opportunities.
- Improved livelihoods and expanded economic opportunities for FDPs and HCs, through access to entrepreneurship and employment with dignity.
- Increased Government Protection for FDPs and HCs and increased Inclusion of FDPs and HCs In Community-based, Local and/or National Social Protection Systems.
- Improved Services, Facilities, and Information Systems essential to FDPs and HCs.
- Provide financial and administrative support relevant to the programme's activities implementation: procurement of goods and services, travel and missions arrangements, seminars and meetings organisation, minutes taking and drafting correspondence, preparing activities budgets, recruiting and payment of consultants, and service providers.
- Assist with the planning and preparatory work of the programme activities. Monitor the status of programme documentation for review and approval, verifying that information is in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Draft correspondence and reports, and maintain and update the related databases on the above administrative operations and maintain and reconcile a variety of records and administrative files on the programme's activities implementation level.
- Support the Finance and Operations Officer to brief staff, experts and/or consultants on administrative procedures. Respond to queries from inside and outside the organisation. Participate in internal meetings to provide information on administrative matters.
- When requested, provide support to the Cairo office in the organisation and preparation of events, and special meetings, and make all important administrative arrangements and facilities for conducting workshops and seminars.
- Maintain and update databases. Perform basic searches for information and prepare and update periodic reports, background information, briefing notes and statistical summaries.
- Keep abreast of changes to relevant programme-related policies, procedures, guidelines and processes and share information with concerned parties, providing further clarification as required.
- Provide general office management support, including attending meetings and drafting correspondence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Completion of secondary school education, plus formal training in accounting, finance or business administration from a recognized commercial school or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of office support work experience, including programme and budget support work and project administration, records keeping and processing of information, and basic knowledge of report writing.
- Good financial and administrative knowledge of project implementation.
- Work experience in development programmes and projects is considered an asset.
- Excellent command of English and good working knowledge of Arabic.
