    We are looking for experienced, talented bookkeeping and accounting professionals to work on a remote part-time basis right from their home office by joining our growing remote accountants and tax experts in the country. The ability to deal with multiple clients and projects will be important, performing bookkeeping, business and individual tax duties for various clients using Quickbooks Online, Payroll softwares and AR/AP software.

    Schedule:
    This is a remote and part-time position for interested accounting and bookkeeping professionals (Min. 10 hours work weekly, required). Must also be able to work off-hour shifts and weekends.

    At ADL, you can flex the typical professional schedule around any personal passions or family time if business needs are being met.

    Responsibilities include:

    Your day might include any cash and accrual accounting, payroll (via softwares) preparing tax documents, tax e-filing, 1099s, A/R, A/P, sales analysis, financial reporting, preparing, or reviewing financial statements and reconciling accounts.

    General accounting and bookkeeping involve the following tasks
    • Perform recurring, routine and moderately complex accounting functions using Quickbooks Online
    • Bank and credit card account reconciliations for various clients
    • Prepare Journal Entries via QBO
    • Process clients employees payroll and contractor payments
    • Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Payroll Reports
    • Individual & Corporate Tax Preparation
    • Process billing, collections, and sales receipts for various clients
    • Record A/Ps, and A/Rs for various clients
    • Prepare financial reports for review
    • Perform all other duties as assigned
    Accounts Payable is about managing outgoing bills and invoices on behalf of the client. These bills might include utility payments, inventory invoices, employee expense accounts and reimbursements, which involve the following tasks:
    • Updating and maintaining records of expenditures
    • Processing bill/invoice payment through QBO/Melio and other payable apps
    • Verifying accuracy of invoices before sending out payments
    • Responding to vendor invoices
    • Ensuring that all payments are sent on time
    • Resolving payment discrepancies and disputes
    Accounts Receivable is about managing incoming payments, which involve the following tasks:
    • Preparing and emailing invoices to customers
    • Posting payments to clients accounts
    • Organizing and filing deposit receipts as invoices are paid
    • Preparing reports on delinquent accounts and clients payment profiles
    • Reconciling cash receipts and deposits
    • Analyzing financial records for accuracy


    Requirements

    Job Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3-5 years bookkeeping/accounting experience
    • MUST be proficient with QuickBooks Online (minimum 3 years experience required)
    • Solid Excel, Word, and Email writing skills.
    • Flexible approach to changing priorities.
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
    • Ability to work well within a confidential environment with sensitive information.
    • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
    • Brings inconsistencies to Managers attention.
    • Good attitude and high degree of professionalism.
    • Must pass general background check
