    • Lead the project and ensure effective and timely delivery of technical, operational, financial and administrative activities
    • Draw up and implement the project's work plan in collaboration with the Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-PI
    • Monitor, with PI and Co-PI, progress in the implementation of the project, as determined in its work plan and the timetable therein
    • Coordinate with the project's senior economic adviser in preparing the draft work plan, and in drafting the Terms of Reference (TOR) of the chapter's authors and their implementation
    • Liaise with the project steering committee to assure the overall direction and integrity of the project, in accordance with the award summary
    • Ensure the efficient administration of the project funds and the fulfillment of the financial tasks
    • Prepare the project's draft financial report and share it with grants accounting, the PI and co-PI, and send it to the sponsors following its adoption
    • Liaise with HR in drafting job descriptions for the project staff and service agreements for chapters' authors and peer-reviewers
    • Manage the project staff members and guide them throughout the project stages
    • Maintain communication with a variety of stakeholders including sponsors, Office of Sponsored Programs, authors, consultants to ensure consistency with the project work plan and schedule
    • Follow up and coordinate with the authors and the reviewers, and take care of submissions, revisions, resubmissions, and proof reading to ensure the successful publication of the handbook
    • Inform the steering committee and project partners on the progress and developments in the project
    • Report regularly to PI/Co-PI, and project steering committee on the project progress, problems, spending, and schedule
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and contribute to knowledge production and dissemination
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor
