My journey started after high school this was the first decision I was supposed to take ,back than in 2007 all I wanted to do was Engineering but specifically “architecture” but unfortunately my parent managed to convince me that if I didn’t show a clear talent in that field and apparently it wasn’t obvious for them how talented I’m   ,my career will be screwed so I joined Electronics and communication engineering instead ,study was fun but I knew afterward that me sitting on a computer desk will never be the case I’m way proactive than that and by senior year I started developing new passion It was baking.

I started by just discovering how to make a simple cake from a box and after that no one could have stopped me started buying tools from all over the world back then my dad used to work in the middle east, my cousins sending me cookie cutters from the state but they thought I was just playing,”like yea she is having fun but she going to get bored soon and come back on track to engineering”.

That was never the case I found myself, I finally could combine my passion with my love for art that wanted me to join architecture in the first place and whenever I was about to invest money in a course I chose back then to buy material instead and try it out, basically I made my friend eat loads of desserts at this period of my life to test and try new recipe.

Also, my mum didn’t really support or like the idea at this stage it was basically war between us I would blame my culture for that because In my country unfortunately Chefs are not well respected as they should we have this kind of gaps between majors so for example if you are a Doctor  ,  Pharmacist ,Engineer you are way well respected than being a chef that’s the result of the high school scores chef school takes the lowest grades so it’s basically If you cannot reach anything oh let’s be a chef and I saw it with my own eyes in 2016 I joined a five star Hotel as a trainee for a month , people there though I’m crazy why coming down here as if this was a dungeon or something when you got a decent bachelor degree ? but for me that was my happy place I wanted to learn and stay there as long as I could but as women as well It was really tricky and I also faced some hygiene problem there I couldn’t stand .

This  when I figured out I’m going to work on my talent opened my own small business along with a teaching assistant job in a British school called CES ,both these jobs evolved a lot skills and made me save some money as well not to mention how my parents turned around those fives pasts year they are not just supporting they are helping specially mum she finally sees I’m talented and she is helping me for my future patisserie course intake fees as well and I have been looking for schools around the world and Australia was the best one I can wish to go to specially I will be on my own, so I searched for safety first and how good the education going to be there being a Chef was my dream and I really want to fulfill it in the best way I could.
