Job Description:


  • Architect and build REST APIs using Ruby on Rails
  • Integrating APIs from internal teams and third parties
  • Implementing automated unit and integration testing
  • Collaborating with engineering, product management, internal stakeholders, designers, and our clients to deliver on our commitments
  • Observing and monitoring our production system including oncall support
What do you need to succeed?

  • 3+ years of experience developing and integrating APIs using Ruby on Rails
  • 3+ years of RDBMS/SQL experience, Postgres preferred
  • 1+ years of experience working with , , or
  • Experience working on a distributed development team in an Agile environment
  • Knowledge of objectoriented design principles
  • Excellent communication skills

Tech stack in use:

  • Ruby and Ruby on Rails
  • Docker, Helm, Kubernetes
  • Gitlab
  • AWS Technologies: SNS, SQS, S3, RDS
  • PostgreSQL

Qualifications:

  • Proven API development experience in Ruby on Rails
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience with Docker + Kubernetes
  • Proven RDBMS/SQL experience

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails
