Purpose of the job
Develop, implement and oversee the purchasing strategy and associated framework / management system/ policies and procedures that aligns in achieving the company business strategy.
Duties and responsibilities
- Build expertise on new domains of growth & innovation and contribute to company transformation program
- Engage collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sourcing strategy balances competitive advantage opportunities, quality and cost effectiveness.
- Represent the company in front of providers, lead negotiations, validate Purchase Orders and lead Purchasing Committee.
- Design and perform internal control on processes, activities and on accuracy of financial implications of them for the purchasing activities.
- Ensure proper integration of Group Sourcing guidelines within OEG sourcing process and governance.
- Lead transversal sourcing projects, coordinate sourcing strategy definition and the negotiations with strategic vendors, in close collaboration with the involved stakeholders
- Support the continuous change management for adapting Purchasing processes/procedures to FT group/OEG strategic developments directions
- Provide overall leadership to the commercial procurement team and ensures continual development of the buyers and managers.
- Support sourcing strategy, governance, and transformation of his/her domain and lead Supplier relationship management.
- Lead a sourcing organization and/or activities related to a portfolio of global categories and/or commodities within a sourcing domain.
- Ensure vendor & sourcing projects consolidation, perform synergies with the objective of achieving additional savings
- Prepare adhoc reports requested by OEG Executive Committee members, OEG Board and Group Corporate organization, for different projects / initiatives
- Leads Demand plan (sourcing roadmap) process within organization, ensuring consistency with budgeted data, in close coordination with GSSC and Buyin.
Job specification
Education
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
- MBA or CIPS will be considered as plus
- Minimum 10 Years Experience In The Same Function.
- Very good English both spoken and written.
- Very good computer skills.
- Strong Customer Orientation.
- Strong communication, listening & interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility & ability to work in a team.
- Selfconfident with professional behavior & attitude.
- High sense of time management.
