Data Engineer, for one of our well-known partners.


Job Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Data Pipeline Development:
  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines using Python.
  • Implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance of the pipelines.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and address data engineering requirements.
  • Cloud architecture Management:
  • Design, optimize, and manage cloud architecture to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and database architectures.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Perform database tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting to maximize performance.
  • Programming and Scripting:
  • Utilize Python for data engineering tasks, including data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Write efficient and maintainable code while adhering to coding best practices.
  • Proficiently write SQL queries and work with different SQL dialects (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • ETL
  • Design and develop Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for data integration.
  • Implement and maintain data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics.
  • Optimize ETL workflows for efficient data processing and storage.
  • Implement HTML/CSS for webbased data visualization and reporting.
  • Data Warehousing
  • Data warehouse design
  • Data warehouse optimization
  • Ensuring data integrity o Creating data catalog
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Data Governance and Documentation:
  • Ensure data governance standards are followed throughout the data engineering processes.
  • Document data pipelines, database structures, and data flow diagrams.
  • Maintain clear and uptodate technical documentation for data engineering projects.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of data engineering best practices

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
years of experience in data engineering or a related role.

  • Strong programming skills with a good understanding of programming techniques.
  • Extensive experience in Python, SQL dialects, and HTML/CSS.
  • Indepth knowledge of cloud architecture, including database design, optimization, and management.
  • Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and nonrelational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with cloudbased data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within crossfunctional teams
