What you'll do

  • Prepare journal entries to record all financial transactions accurately in the general ledger system.
  • Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure general ledger accounts are properly coded and mapped.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts (cash, receivables, payables, inventory, fixed assets etc.) monthly.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Managing consolidated monthly financial statements including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual Closings.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Implement improvements where needed.
  • Prepare reports for statutory filings and tax purposes.
  • Liaise with external auditors to provide required information for the annual audit process.
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 13 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Superior communication skills in Arabic and English both written & spoken.
  • Knowledge of Egypt VAT and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Expertise in preparing financial statements and reports using ERP software.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and team player attitude.
  • Commitment to integrity, accuracy and meeting deadlines.
