    Your Role
    • Assess the needs of our Labs and scientists and automate assays utilizing our liquid handling, plate readers, and automated software
    • Lead the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of new workflows as they are transitioned from bench-top localized instruments to instruments connected to the network, both independently and in collaboration with scientists, vendors, and
    • Continually seek out new technologies to increase throughput, and improve ease of use to optimize workflows and improve approachability of our automation to the
    • Integrate workflows to various networked instruments such as Spectroscopes, UV-Vis, HPLCs etc to support scalability and Collaborate with IT, CSV and the Labs team to improve usability and
    • Provide ongoing support to automated methods and perform OT related troubleshooting and escalation as
    • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and coach/train bench scientists and Lab


    Requirements

    • BS degree in an Engineering discipline (Bio, Biomedical, or Mechanical), or related field with 4+ years of relevant automation experience
    • Experience running and automating high-throughput workflows and methods
    • Proficiency in using, programming, and troubleshooting Lab instruments
    • Expertise in designing and optimizing automated workflow including translating manual workflows to automated solutions
    • Working knowledge of laboratory scheduling software and robotics systems
    • Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) languages (Python, Java, C++, etc)
    • Experience in writing, validating, and implementing lab SOPs and supporting documents
    • Strong collaborative, organizational, and time management skills
    • Ability to quickly adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies

    Annual Salary Range (dependent on experience) $98,000-$156,000
