Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing the team in charge of handling the accounts payables, accounts receivable, and purchasing services The job entails managing the day to day accounting work and directing accounting staff accordingly


Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage daily operations of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and general ledger accounts
  • Responsible for producing monthly financial reports, fiscal yearend closing, annual statutory audit, and financial controller's reports
  • Extend support as appropriate in the preparation of the annual budget
  • Oversee policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Recommend reporting procedures and internal controls for the purpose of maintaining accurate records
  • Direct staff for the purpose of ensuring that proper accounting practices and procedures are followed
  • Follow up budgets and fund balances of assigned programs and related financial activity for the purpose of ensuring that allocations are accurate, related revenues are generated, expenses are within budget limits, and/or fiscal practices are followed
  • Appraise the performance PMS of own team
  • Perform additional jobrelated duties as assigned

Job Skills and Abilities:


  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Very good computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, monitoring and customer service skills

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting,
Years of Experience

  • Indepth knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures
