Join the team of a leading holding company in Saudi Arabia specializing in Telecommunications and Electronics Manufacturing.

The company is experiencing a very fast growth this year and they are looking to welcome an experienced
GL Senior Accountant in their office in Egypt.


Job Context:

Working as a GL Senior Accountant entails: Following all relevant policies and procedures, verifying debtors' and clients' balances, and reviewing files and documents to ensure that operations are carried out as required.


Key Accountabilities:


The position involves:


  • Conducting examination of general ledger accounts files, identify any discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Ensuring accuracy of recorded data in subsidiary ledgers.
  • Verifying journal entry postings and record entries related to general accounts.
  • Adhering to all requests from the accounts manager and financial director.
  • Reviewing monthly closing reports, verifying entries, and making adjustments to ensure report accuracy.
  • Committing to the accounting policies and procedures specific to the general ledger.
  • Developing, training, and selfassessing through utilizing company development systems and evaluation processes to ensure competency in fulfilling duties.
  • Performing any other emerging tasks related to job objectives and responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:


We are Looking for:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in accounting within medium to largesized companies, with experience in team management.
  • Proficiency in using readymade software, especially Oracle.
