Ashraf Hanafi

Presently, I am working at the Canadian International College (CIC), Cairo campus of Cape
Breton University, University of Ottawa. Currently, I hold various positions at the CIC.
Firstly, I teach EFL, EAP, and Academic Writing courses. I also teach preparation for IELTS
courses. This wide range of courses gives me the experience required to teach students
across various levels, starting from elementary to advanced levels. Throughout my classes,
I have used technology as a basic tool to make the learning environment more interactive.
Secondly, I work as a coordinator in the curriculum-development committee, hiring
committee members in the English Department, member of the scheduling committee for
the academic staff, the academic English coordinator with the University of Ottawa,
coordinating between Ottawa University and the CIC in the School of Mass
Communication.
