Duties and Responsibilities

  • Represents Worley at internal & external meetings on the project.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of Worley HSE systems and procedures for the Project and performs work in accordance with Worley internal processes and procedures.
  • Advises Worley Project team on HSE concerns.
  • Participates in HSE and R3 responses to incidents and assists in creating and implementing response and recovery plans.
  • Participates in audits of existing and potential Worley offices and accommodation.
  • Assists in the production and delivery of incountry induction training for incomers. Assists in educating Worley Project staff on HSE systems and protocols upon arrival.
  • Assists in monitoring and disseminating HSErelated information.
  • Maintains an incident database and mapping of all major incidents to assist in trend analysis.
  • Contributes to safety and hazard assessments for the Project.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety or an equivalent relevant field
  • 7+ years of HSE experience including large scale projects and multicultural teams. Middle East and nuclear experience preferred.

Special Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate, influence and persuade
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, understanding of Arabic and Russian are a plus
  • Problem solving and change management skills
  • Risk management and incident investigation experience
  • Proactive team player, proven to be effective in a multicultural environment
