it asset management officer will perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware software assets apply a continuous improvement approach in enhancing the strategies employed in technology spending as well as in tracking it assets throughout their lifecycle plan monitor and record hardware assets software license to make sure they comply with vendor contracts establish maintain IT assets database related financials verifications audits identify report breaches to department head of ITAM policy track remedial action manage activities concerning licenses compliance audits answer requests from software providers effectively perform related reconciliations generate distribute various reports including compliance reports on accurate IT assets status mitigate risk having non compliant software assets ensure process efficiency implementing KPI suggest improvement continuously provide annual requirements budget planning for operating capital expenses work accounting finance accurately recording acquisition disposition of assets provide recommendations analysis identify cost reduction process opportunities evaluating total cost ownership technology.
