Role Description
The Senior Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role located in Maadi ,Cairo, Egypt. The individual in this role will oversee and execute design projects, ensuring high-quality and innovative solutions that meet the needs of various engineering challenges. Daily tasks include developing and refining design concepts, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. The Senior Design Engineer will also participate in reviewing design specifications, analyzing projects for optimization opportunities, and contributing to product development processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design methodologies
- Strong expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering
- Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to implement innovative engineering solutions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering fields; a Master's degree is a plus
- 5+ years of practical experience in design engineering or a similar field
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Experience in project management is advantageous
