Job summary
Evaluate each patient utilizing applicable diagnostic prognostic and functional ability assessments Re-evaluate patient status as appropriate for their plan of care change of condition This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management deems necessary Provide clinical supervision to PTAs in the implementation of treatment plan Counter-sign PTA documentation in a timely manner according to organizational policy Participate in and knowledgeable of QA&I activities Ensure patient and departmental safety through work requests following safety procedures and other appropriate measures Supervise direct all physical therapy assistants rehab techs provision care including progression program optimize outcomes Conduct participate supervise training observation medical nursing personnel students people physical therapy Market promote physical therapy services as appropriate Assume responsibility direction physical therapy services assigned Manager Director Submit capital equipment recommendations inform Manager Director department needs Understand significance participate volunteer opportunities within greater community promoting supporting higher quality life our region These opportunities may include enhancement social educational spiritual physical psychological needs our area
