Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Engineering and Maintenance Manager based in Alexandria.
The role involves overseeing and managing maintenance operations for machinery and equipment, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance programs are effectively implemented.
Key responsibilities include supervising maintenance teams, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
The role also involves coordinating with other department heads to address maintenance-related priorities within the facility and maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities.
QualificationsProven supervisory skills, with experience leading and managing maintenance teams effectively.
Strong expertise in equipment maintenance and repair for industrial machinery and packaging systems.
Hands-on knowledge of preventive maintenance and maintenance management processes.
Proficiency in planning, organizing, and implementing maintenance schedules efficiently.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial work environments.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Experience in the manufacturing or packaging industry is a significant advantage.
