Job Brief:

The Payroll Specialist will work under the direction of the Payroll Manager to lead our payroll This position requires an extremely detail-oriented person with knowledge of multi-state payroll

Responsibilities:

• Processes payroll using ADP Workforce Now on a weekly basis in multiple states; ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll for around 250+
  
• Performs payroll-related functions including but not limited to processing new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, deductions, direct deposits, rate changes, garnishments, bonuses, retroactive adjustments, off-cycle adjustments, and manual
  
• Assists with 401(k), Workers Compensation, and year-end
  
• Responsible for reviewing, auditing, and maintaining timecards and
  
• Create and update weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as
  
• Download payroll and tax reports as
  
• Periodically review the information entered by employees and managers in ADP and makes necessary corrections to ensure accurate payroll
  
• Troubleshoot problems with paychecks, tax deductions, time card issues, and other payroll-related matters and communicate with employees
  

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of federal and multi-state payroll
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and maintain strict
  
• Demonstrate ability and commitment to providing an extremely high level of customer
  
• Proficient knowledge of ADP Work Force Now and Time & Attendance or comparative
  
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to
  
• Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving
  
• Must have excellent mathematical
  
• Highly motivated; able to work independently and in a team
  
• Highly dependable and reliable about the work schedule and ability to meet project
  

Desired skills:

• Bachelor s degree in human resources or business-related field
  
• Minimum of three years experience processing multi-state
