An Internal Medicine Specialist, DHA eligible and  having recent UAE work experience during COVID19 pandemic,with a total 14 years experience in this specialty ( only seven years after the date of getting master degree). Being employed for 13 years at Alexandria Police Hospital- such a large and great hospital- has helped me to be professional, working under stress, qualified to deal with all types of personalities, respecting the system and being a good member/leader in my team. I have worked in other health facilities in both specialties, internal medicine and nephrology. I have been trained in Alexandria Main Hospital (the main hospital of Alexandria University) and i have attended so many conferences and workshops especially in topics regarding diabetes, endocrinology and nephrology.
I am skilled in gaining patients confidence and teaching patients about their illness and how to deal perfectly with it. I like to be a helpful member in the teamwork. I am interested in learning and research along with teaching juniors and nurses about medical topics as needed.

* Job description as Internal Medicine Specialist:

-Examines, diagnoses and treats patients for infections, injuries and acute or chronic illness.

Formulates diagnostic and treatment plans.-

- Documents items such as: chief complaint, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment and plan

- Counsels and educates patients and families about acute and chronic conditions or concerns

-- Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team

- Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee

-Participate in Clinical Outcomes Program and work towards meeting organizational targets for all metrics

Performing history and physical assessments as indicated-

-Developing a plan of treatment/care for the patient that also includes education and follow-up visits

-Maintaining current and complete documentation in the medical record that reflects the care and services provided to the patient.

-Provide a special care for diabetic foot screening.

Diagnose patients suspected of having renal problems using the right diagnostic tools and laboratory assays.

Perform dialysis or operation on damaged kidneys. 

-Refer patients suspected of tumors of kidney to kidney oncologists

-Manage anti-rejection drugs in post transplant surgeries and monitor patient response, acting accordingly.

-Keep well-informed with new developments in diabetes, endocrinal and kidney diseases management.

-Share in cyclic educational sessions for junior residents of Internal Medicine, Nephrology and ICU according to the latest international guidelines.

 - Knowledge of and ability to take a detailed medical history-

-Above average skill and familiarity in the use of high technology diagnostic and treatment tools.

- Demonstrated ability to give impressions of x-rays (prior to being read by radiologist.
