Kareem Bassem

I have been working as an educator as well as being one of the leadership team for an international school. I am a certified cognia team member and I had been through many school reviews around the world.

I have joined this field since 2018 as a middle school science teacher. A year later, I was assigned to teach high school biology. I was then participating in curriculum planning, as well as students’ summative and formative assessments. Also being a high school counselor was one of my core responsibilities, as I was guiding students to manage and plan their academic track. After showing passion in work and being able to manage and deal with peers and staff, I was promoted to a project manager and educational supervisor. My responsibilities would include planning for the academic year, through managing classes schedules, setting exams timetables and plans for extracurricular activities. Being a leader and one of the board members (regarding academics) I was in charge of managing schools’ documents through Cognia’s accreditation review. And I succeeded along with my team in getting our school accredited with an above average grade. Participating in the accreditation process gave me that push to join Cognia as an Engagement Review team member as I have finished two reviews for huge schools and on my way to finish the third.

I have been graduated from the faculty of science with excellent grade with honors. then I had post studies in educational field through the general diploma from the faculty of education. I had finished alot of courses related to the leadership and inspection of schools
