I possess more than 20 years of professional experience in the Environment sector. My areas of expertise involve international cooperation, social engagement, management, coordinating, organizing tasks, high-level meetings and follow up on international projects in achieving (IFC) Performance Standards and its compliance with the Egyptian polices and legislations. In addition to engagement with various stakeholders and follow up on Environmental programmes and projects, international agreements concerning environmental protection and sustainable development.

I have extensive expertise, demonstrated experience in dealing with development partners to reach the planned outputs and objectives. To illustrate, I have supported the work of Green Climate Fund focal point in Egypt through coordinating with line ministries and development partners and donors in the preparation of GCF concept note and funding proposals.

In Addition to that, I have extended my experience from National to Regional context through focus on African Region with emphasis on Climate Change related initiatives. I have organized inside and outside Egypt the meetings of the technical working groups of the initiatives, followed up on the delivery of required tasks, took notes and reported to the Head of the AMCEN unit. I have also prepared progress and annual reports on achievements of AMCEN based on the technical input received from various stakeholders.

During the last 3 years, I have also extended my experience as communication expert, where I used to be the national coordinator of the International Conference of the COP14 which was on the Presidential & Ministerial level, where I gained good experience in biodiversity aspects and how to manage all environmental risks that may affect the nature and its biodiversity. Where I initiated many social initiatives to raise awareness concerning biodiversity conservation. Also, I shared in the preparation of the Communication strategy that made for the Ministry of Environment including all the campaigns prepared for the Ministry and some programs in the Ministry too.

I have reputable organizational skills, and proven coordination skills. I have a well and solid understanding of dealing with government entities, stakeholders, donors, development partners, NGOs and private sector through direct communication with policy decision makers and support various teams to achieve the planned outputs.
