Aya Elshabshiri

My services include architectural design, visualization and 3D modeling, I believe in design as a process. I am also passionate about sustainability in architecture, I am a team player, with great time management and ability to work under pressure. I am curious, willing to learn and adapt to new things and love to take on new challenges. I am also proficient at many of the programs listed such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3Ds Max, Vray as well as Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Sketch up and Lumion. 

I am currantly working as a Graduate Assistant at the American University in Cairo, a Teaching Assistant where I assisted in the Senior Design Studio course and Dissertation course at the Department of Architecture, and Research assistant where I assist in research about sustainable topics such as existing wind tower efficiency and Green Walls on Egyptian buildings. 

I currently work as a freelance architect, designing a 5 story apartment building.

I worked as an Architect at Ebdaa Real Estate Development, I developed shopdrawings, I assisted with residential building design. I also coordinated architectural plans with electrical and plumbing
plans. 

I was a student Intern at Alshams for Contracting and Engineering Works. I was given 2D drawings of certain residential projects to model on Revit and was asked to model the structure and architecture of
the buildings as per the client’s needs.

I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Sharjah with highest honors of 3.98/4.00 GPA.
