Managing the raw materials, raw milling, and kiln operation. and the shift teams to optimize performance
Achieve the plant and departmental KPIs and objectives for safety, housekeeping, environment, quality, production, and costs.
Taking ownership of performance monitoring and incident investigation relating to shift production activities.
Responsible for effective cross-functional coordination with the engineering and process teams to deliver efficient planning and operational improvements.
Plant operations are 365 days, 24/7 and the role requires flexibility to ensure the effective running of the plant. This may involve night working, weekend and Bank holidays and being on call for operational support.
Ownership of performance monitoring and incident investigation relating to the shift production activities, including responsibility for coordinating with the engineering and process teams in planning and the development of reliability strategies.
Ensuring that the plant runs with a high level of safety, and efficiency and complies with all regulatory norms.
Constant interaction with many stakeholders, i.e., process, maintenance, quality, environment etc., to ensure the smooth operation of the plant and produce good quality clinker and cement.
