I have been teaching English for over 37 years and I am involved in post-doctoral research .Most of my papers are  published abroad in Scopus-recognized journals of both Linguistics and ELT 

I have a specific teaching philosophy which is based on the following criteria:
- How I enact my teaching beliefs in my courses:
A teacher should incorporate his own ideology and beliefs into his own courses. I am adherent to teamwork concept. Therefore, I always encourage pair work/group work activities and debatable topics
- How my thinking about my teaching practices has evolved:
From the very beginning of my teaching career in different universities in Egypt and abroad, I am a strong believer that teaching is like a living organism; it changes and at the same time it is subject to change. Context affects my teaching practices. On the undergraduate level, I am more of a facilitator, whereas on the postgraduate level, I am more of a mentor and a supervisor.

I am a post-doctoral fellow .My MA is from Sheffield UK and my Ph.D is from Egypt
