Ahmed Ali

I am a graduate of the American University in Cairo (AUC). I am currently working in OTC department related to supply chain doing comprehensive analyses in order to develop the business in FMCG industry. I would like to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible in order to progress and develop on the technical side. I also completed the requirements of ASEM (American Society for Engineering Management), a certificate that incorporates strategic planning, supply chain course, financial resources, market research and other engineering management courses.

Working as a regional OTC Specialist helped me in developing numerous communication tips in dealing with many varieties of backgrounds and ideas, in addition, my current role mainly involves reaching out to people to seek their input for the regional projects, which continuously requires my thorough understanding of the projects I am responsible for, that was an added value not only to my understanding but also to enhance my acumen for different requirements of the countries due to their varying structures. Drafting new processes is also an essential part to duties, to limit the deficiencies introduced by countries also, it has the advantage of pinpointing the shortages in the service level offered by the countries

Before joining Mondelēz International, I used to work for Dakahalia Group, I completed a graduate program working in different functions, this program exposed me to the whole FMCG chain starting from agriculture up to marketing, HR, import and export, I had strong visibility of all processes, documents and regulations of the industry. I spent nearly couple of months at every department to get an overview of the work scope of each function
