I graduated from Cairo University in June 2006  with a Bachelor degree in Commerce, major Accounting. This led me to recognize a great opportunity for me to pursue a fruitful career. Therefore, I would like to inquire about joining you as a full time employee.

I started my career in Purchasing and Logistics as I was interested in this field. I joined Egyptian German Automotive (EGA) in April 2008 as a "Foreign Purchasing & Logistics Specialist" for almost 3 years. Then I pursued my career in the purchasing and logistics field as a " Purchasing Manager" at Flower Power Design where I was engaged in more advanced purchasing and logistics tasks.

• Responsible for implementation of purchasing cycle through getting optimum offers and prices from suppliers (local & foreign) for flowers , roses and accessories (artificial roses and vases) to meet the specifications required by the company.
• Communicating and collecting orders from other departments.
• Negotiate with suppliers the payment term.
• Preparing and sending the orders to suppliers.
• Receiving feedback from suppliers regarding the orders (i.e. available quantity and available colors.)
• Receiving and checking invoices from suppliers.
• Requesting from foreign suppliers to prepare documents needed in order to apply for agreements.

(I.e. COMESA & EUR.1)

• Ensuring that suppliers send the correct forms of the requested documents.
• Sending shipment details and shipping documents to the clearance agency.
• Reviewing the quality and the quantity of received goods from both imported and local items and ensuring the compliance of the order and sending claims to suppliers in case of incompliance.
• Distributing the received orders to various demanders.
• Sending the price lists and invoices after shipment delivery to the financial department.
• Following-up on suppliers payments with the financial department upon.
• Supervisor mentoring  accessories warehouse.
